INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather that affects the driving conditions for the majority of our dancers or instructors, the studio will close and reopen when driving conditions are safe. A decision may be made to cancel class one hour prior to your scheduled class time. No refunds are given for class cancellations due to weather.
An email will be sent to all enrolled students regarding any such closure. You will also be notified via social media.
If the studio remains open and driving conditions are unsafe for you, please email at [email protected] or call the office at 503-674-8620 to help in keeping us informed.
As a side note, if public schools are closed due to snow or ice, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we will automatically close as well. We instruct dancers from all over Multnomah and Clackamas County who may not be affected by inclement weather. We are not a public school, therefore the final decision of a snow day rests with Inspire Dance Centre whilte taking in the best interest of the majority of the students.
If Inspire Dance Centre must cancel classes due to extreme weather or other events beyond our control such as power outages, in most cases the missed lessons will not be made up. If studio space and teachers are availble, it is possible classes could be rescheduled. You will be notified via email if this is an availble option. Otherwise, NO refunds for lessons missed due to these reasons listed above will be given.
