We are very excited to offer a boys ballet class starting this fall 2020, taught by, Josh Murry-Hawkins! We are so thankful to have Josh be part of this exciting new class addition. He is an an ongoing guest teacher at Inspire, choreographing partner pieces in The Nutcracker, recitals, as well as instructing at our summer intensives. As this is a new addition to our curriculum, we'll be working with all ages and levels in this exciting new class for young men to focus on ballet.
Fridays: 4:00pm - 5:00pm - Ages: 7 and up, prefer some dance experience
About Josh Murry-Hawkins -
Josh studied at Milwaukee Ballet and Joffrey Ballet School on full scholarship. He joined BodyVox and danced with their company for 6 years touring the country and Europe. He was a founding member of Éowyn Emerald & Dancers and toured to Scotland dancing in The Fringe Festival. He has been a guest artist with several high profile ballet schools including The Portland Ballet, Portland Festival Ballet, and Columbia Dance. Currently, Josh is the Dance Director of Riverside Performing Arts and Artistic Director of his professional dance company, Washington Dance Creative.
