The premier Pre-Professional Dance program at Inspire attracts a certain kind of student. You’re dedicated. You’re driven. You’re committed. You wouldn’t dream of doing anything half way. You dream about being the best. The objective of our program is to help you get there.
Inspire Dance Centre Youth Company pre-professional dance training program runs all year long and is designed to offer students an intensive, comprehensive course of study and experiences in dance and the arts that will prepare them for: • Higher education opportunities • Industry related requirements and expectations • Professional lives as performing artists By combining classical and new information, extended educational opportunities, and hands-on, real-world experience, pre-professional students will be set apart from the competition helping them to have the experience, skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in the art form they love. This company will require an audition and acceptance by the studio Director. Company auditions will be held on TBA. Those who show maturity, strong technical ability and a desire to pursue numerous performance opportunities should plan to audition. Experience with 4+ years of ballet training is required. We invite all of our intermediate level dancers in both the Young Dancer and Inspired Dancer Programs, to accompany our Youth Company dancers to this years Dance Workshops & Conventions held at various locations in both Portland and Seattle. You may choose just one convention, or all of them! These are generally 2-day dance events where dancers are separated into large groups based on age and they will have classes throughout the day in many different genres of dance. Your dancer will learn a lot and have a really fun and memorable time for sure! The workshops charge an entry fee per dancer as well as any parent observer fee. It is a great way to experience a glimpse into the world of dance!
